The short version
Kindred Faeries sets no tracking cookies. The only thing we store in your browser is your answer to the cookie banner, so we don't have to ask again. No analytics, no advertising, no third-party scripts watching where you go.
What we store
| Name | Type | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
site_cookie_consent | Local storage (strictly necessary) | Remembers whether you accepted or declined optional cookies, and which categories. | Until you clear your browser storage. |
That's the whole table. Fonts load from our own server, not Google, and the site is plain static pages, so nothing else needs to be set.
Why there's still a banner
The banner lists optional categories (analytics, marketing, functional) because the site is built to support them. We don't use any of them today. If we ever add something, for example a simple visitor counter, it will only load after you've said yes, and it will appear in the table above before it goes live.
Changing your mind
You can reopen the cookie preferences from the link in the banner, or
clear the site_cookie_consent entry in your browser's site
data; the banner will then ask you again on your next visit. Declining
changes nothing about how the site works.
Other sites we link to
Registrations for our gatherings happen on YooHoo Social, and our social network Fae Social needs a cookie to keep you logged in; each has its own cookie notice in its Privacy Center. Links to other faerie organisations and venues take you to sites we don't control.
For how we handle personal data more broadly, see the Privacy Policy.
